Established a new helpdesk for the department. Directly supported about 30 people while assisting in supporting about 120 other people. Assisted in the planning and completion of a rollout of about 150 new computers.
Ogilvy & Mather, New York, New York
September - December 1996: MIS Consultant
Managed file server and email backups. Assisted in new router and hub setup. Setup and installed 40 new PC's. Responded general help desk problems.
Failure Analysis Associates, Menlo Park, California
June ñ August 1996: MIS Consultant
Upgraded 35+ PC to Windows 95 and a standard set of software. Dealt with any hardware or software problems that arose. Also, responded to a number of assorted MIS problem calls.

April 1995-July 1996: NEXTSTEP System Administrator
Administrated a network of four NeXT(4.3 BSD UNIX) computers. Installed new server for the network, applications and programming tools and development kits. Also maintained and upgraded hardware.
August 1992 - May 1996: WXBC Radio Station Engineer
Reinstated and maintained the college radio station. Installed new equipment, fixed broken equipment, and helped with planning program schedule.

Projects and Presentations

1995-1996: JoyStickMusicMachine, an interface to computer music algorithms
Completed a self-conceived program to control computer synthesis algorithms with two joysticks in a user- programmed manner. It was programmed in Objective-C using the CCRMA MusicKit on NEXTSTEP computers.
1994: SIST Program
Presented my computer program for aiding the identification of human stress response at the annual scientific meeting of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry , New York, NY, Oct. 1994.
1992-1993: Photography Project and Presentation
Presented two photography projects on different themes while studying under Larry Fink for a year.

B.A. in music from Bard College, Annandale, NY in May 1996, specializing in computer music.
