I have always had an aesthetic interest in colors, especially pure colors. I started out taking pictures of flat surfaces: sides of cars, the ground, etc., so my roots are in abstraction.

Back when I was a photo major, my professor Larry Fink would rag on me for focusing to much on experiementation rather than aesthetics. But I still like to experiment because I like being surprised by the end result. Here are some recent efforts:
